B Listed: Fall beauty must haves

As the leaves change, so should your beauty routine. Here are three beauty must haves for fall that I will be working to perfect.

1. Winged tip eyeliner: We all know Lauren Conrad has perfected this look and Adele kills it but I'm looking to make this work everyday. With all the many tutorials available I am determined to master the art of eyeliner.
2. Simple bun: I have to admit that this look is already in my daily routine (typically day 3 of dirty hair) and will use throughout the season.
3. Dark lips: This is a stretch for me. Just last year, I started wearing lipstick and have fears of this dark lip color. The trick here will be finding the perfect shade that compliments my skin tone and the perfect formula that stays through the day.

B Converted: French Barn

I'm not one for barns, I'm actually far from country and outdoorsy you can say. But, if there was a barn I could live in with a fabulous chandelier like the one below then I would!

B Paired: Black and gold

Let me introduce you to my color pairing go-to. Black is increasing being added to my closet and gold has always been a staple. I'm finding these to slowly take over my fall wardrobe. Will I wear color again? I'm not sure with all these chic options.

B Printed: Socks for fall

I traded in my iced coffee for a hot non-fat latte this morning. But when do you know it's really fall? When you stop shopping for tanks and start shopping for socks, printed socks! I admit that there are days during the fall and winter that I walk out with mis-matching socks under my boots. But there's something about colorfully printed socks that make me excited! So far, I've found that J. Crew and Madewell give the largest collection of printed socks. Where do you find your socks for fall?

B Posed: Emmy top four

Last night's Emmy's was filled with new blood that was catching my eye. While the countdown to Fall television begins, I picked out my top four because really after them I lost interest.

From left to right: Emily Vancamp in J. Mendel, Jessica pare in Jason Wu, Alison Williams in Oscar De La Renta, Kerry Washington in Vivienne Westwood

P.S. Who is watching Scandal and Revenge with me this week?

B Patched: Gwyneth Paltrow Goop Sweaters

Fall is creeping on us and soon it will be sweater goes with everything season. I love this new collaboration from Gwyneth Paltrow on Goop showing that heart sweaters with elbow patches aren't for elderly or ten years and under. It's the patched details that is perfect for a pumpkin spice latte and book read on a Fall saturday.

B Pinned: Olivia Palermo style

I know you're aware of the addiction of Pinterest but are you aware of addicted to pinning photos of Olivia Palermo? It's as if when she's in her closet she thinks, "what is pin worthy?". I have loved her simple approach to create a beautiful ensemble with just 4 easy pieces. Nothing to over think about but creative pairing with classic items, she is my pinning guru.

B Back to blogging

A few essentials I need to keep my blogging up to speed. Though, one thing I missed is possibly a calendar to better juggle between work and blogging time. What are your tips and tricks for staying up to date with your blog?

B Hunted: Fox accessories

When I was young, I collected frogs. From ceramics you could paint yourself to the giant FAO Schwarz stuffed animals. If I could tell my younger self to collect another animal it would now be fox from the surprising trend coming out of the woods (pun intended).

B Dressed: Date night

Today in new York City we've been blessed with the perfect weather and feels as if Fall is creeping in. In a long distance relationship, date night typically means watching YouTube videos together on Facetime rather than a night out dressed to the tee but the advantage of distance is giving me time to plan that perfect outfit for our next date together. And I just love to plan. This one has a few of my Fall staples mixed in for a perfect dinner date in early Fall. Anyone else just swooning over that leather skirt?

B Tried: Beauty tested

For a self-proclaimed beauty junkie I'll typically try any product at least once. These are a few recent testers on my list that have made it past the one time trial.
ONE: Philosophy Here Comes the Sun gradual face self-tanner- In the summer, it's best to be tan and even in the fall its nice to not be pale. In a time that I would rather not discuss, I went to tanning beds. I can still feel the damage sun did on my skin after the beach and you know that dry feeling I'm talking about. I have made the transition to spray tan for my body but still couldn't find the best for my face that didn't stain the more sensitive skin orange. Using Philosophy morning (after moisturizer but before makeup) and night (after moisturizer again) has given me subtle color for when I need it. It takes about 3 applications to go really tan and in the fall I will probably hold back to only two during the week. If your skin is begging you to make the transition to self-tanner, this is one I'd stock up on.

TWO: Ole Henriksen Ultimate lift eye gel roll on- Sometimes you need some love before you make it to the coffee machine and this gives me an instant refresher. Tired eyes comes easily to a full-time gal in NYC so having a boost has really helped those under eyes firm up. Note: This product will not replace your morning caffeine addiction.

THREE: Boscia Detoxifying black cleanser- I guess becoming a Sephora insider did me good when rewarded with this cleanser. The black appearance might night make you think you're getting clean but the heat conducted up on contact with the skin opens up your pores and de-clogs what you can't get. I haven't completely said no to my daily cleanser but this is still being worth a few more tests.

B Needs creativity

Confession: I'm ready for Summer to be over. Bring on the leather, wool and Fall layers. Summer was barely a season but I managed to escape to the beach a few more times to spend time with my loves who came over from Seattle. Working with a full-time job in social media, it has been hard to come home and blog, Instagram and create for myself. With Summer vacation over and my small (but large to me) blog break it is time I became re-inspired. It's advice that I have given many other bloggers that it only takes one post and the rest will come. After all this is how Just B came about, no pressure, just ideas that I put to the internet So here we go, no promises that life will take over again but I know I need this creativity in my life.
