B Introduced: Celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann

I can't believe it is only Saturday afternoon and how successful my weekend has already been. So I couldn't wait to blog until Monday about my run in with celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann. So maybe it wasn't exactly a "run in" since I planned on being where she was... at the Nordstrom beauty trend show.

As my obesession with nail polish has grown I have become a huge fan and follower of Deborah Lippmann's work. My nail polish collection of hers has grown immensely and I don't see it stopping anytime soon. So with someone who has been a fan for some time I was surprised at how many new things I learned about the manicurist this morning while purchasing her new holiday color 'Boom Boom Pow'.

1. She's a jazz singer. Nope, not just a silly hobby. She performs and has cds. I just went through and sampled her music and her newest album Vinyl has been added to my playlist. Her voice is gorgeous and I wish I could see her perform in New York City in November.

2. She is from Scottsdale, Arizona. I am living in her hometown where she grew up.

3. It's her birthday this weekend and she wasn't wearing her 'Happy Birthday' nail polish.

4. She has a national campaign for her 'Across the Universe' nail polish that you can be apart of. Just purchase her new blue green glitter polish and take picture of yourself and nails. E-mail it to Deborah Lippmann and you'll be featured on her website while she also donates a portion of proceeds.

I wasn't able to receive a free polish change this morning as I already had a shellac manicure recently but I couldn't resist trying my new color. Layering is part of Deborah Lippmann's philosophy and 'Boom boom pow' gave my manicure a whole new look.

B Popped: Kate Spade London pop-up

This week on the other side of the pond Kate Spade opened a pop-up shop in London. The pop-up in the design of a sixties London apartment was filled with details I'd love to replicate. The brand decided to make this pop-up in London so those overseas could recognize the brand in hopes to secure a permanent location after doing so. If I was a Brit and saw this wallpapered closet for the first time I'd be sold.

B Streamed: Chanel and Lanvin for H&M

Twitter and facebook give us constant insight into fashion empires houses but occasionally we need a stronger visual. I came upon these videos yesterday and felt so inspired by both of them. Chanel's behind the scenes look at their Spring 2011 beauty explains why not everything needs to be taken directly from the runway to the streets. And of course, there goes H&M giving us a tease but really nothing of the Lanvin collaboration. Patience is being tested...

B Marked: Temporary tattoos by Beyonce

Temporary tattoos are typically found at an arcade in machines but since Chanel's Spring 2010 launch of temporary tattoos the novelty is making a comeback. They are used to adorn without jewelry or maybe to intimdiate without the needle. Beyonce is taking her step into temporary tattoos with a collaboration with Temptu. Beyonce's Limited Edition Dereon temporary tattoo set will feature 3 different styles including motorcyle, bedtime and rocker. I am having a hard time picture when and where I'd try these tattoos besides halloween. Any suggestions?

B Broke: Club Monaco available on ShopBop.com

Last night I watched the jealous hash tag of #shopbopclubmanaco launch. Many of my blogger friends were in attendance and I'm anxious to hear their posts about the event celebrating Club Monaco's first presence on the world wide web. But thankfully I can do what I would've done last night this morning, start charging that card. Club Monaco listened to the consumer's request for years asking for availability online with their first step to go on Shopbop.com.

B Chosen: Fashion decade of choice

I got into a conservation the other night during Mad Men on which decade I would like to go back to regarding fashion. Forget the political times but what fashion was I most inspired by that I would like to re-live or live for the first time. I found myself torn between the 1920s and 1960s of course. Both fashions very different but similar with women's strong sense of style. The flappers seem to pore out independence with low hip beaded dresses while women of the 1960s were dressed from eyelashes to toes.

B Enjoyed: An eventful weekend

The weekend has passed and its time for a new week. I have a lot happening this week so it was nice to enjoy a weekend filled with indulgences. I attended Phoenix Fashion Week and got to finally pull out the sequin skirt and all accessories. While also enjoying a good meal outside in the hot sun and then ending with a Lauren Conrad book signing. She was incredibly sweet and the paparazzi pictures don't do her justice.
